Peanut Butter Pie Recipe

This is a sinfully delicious and incredibly easy dessert for any occasion with an Oreo crust and a creamy, fluffy peanut butter cheesecake-like filling!

INGREDIENTS

- Oreo cookies - Peanut butter - Cream cheese - Butter - Powdered sugar - Heavy cream - Vanilla extract - Chocolate chips - Coconut oil (for melting)

How to Make It!

Step 1: Make the Crust. Grind Oreos to crumbs in a food processor. Stir in melted butter. Press pie dough into a 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 350F for 12-15 minutes. Cool completely.

Step 2: Make the Filling. Beat peanut butter and cream cheese with a hand mixer or stand mixer until completely smooth. Blend in sugar, vanilla, and salt.

Step 2 (continued) Whip heavy cream and vanilla until stiff peaks form. This will take about 1 minute. Tools: stand mixer, hand mixer or whisk on an immersion blender

Step 3: Assemble Pie Mix whipped cream and peanut butter mixture until fully combined. Add pie filling to cooled Oreo crust and smooth out the top.  Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.

How to Make It!

Step 4: Get Ready to Serve! Heat chocolate with coconut oil and stir until smooth. Drizzle chocolate over top of the pie. Refrigerate for 15 minutes before serving.

TIPS & TRICKS

For the creamiest pie filling, make sure the cream cheese is soft before beating. Soften cream cheese in the microwave or leave it at room temp for a couple of hours.
