If you’ve been hanging around here long enough, you know that I’m a huge coffee fan!
And if this is your first time here, first of all, welcome! I love coffee.
Getting Laid Off Was a Blessing in Disguise
Up until almost a year ago, a swing through the Starbucks drive-thru was part of my daily routine. And then I got laid off.
Which all in all, was a wonderful thing to happen on so many levels! But perhaps most all, I’ve saved a ton of money by NOT going to Starbucks every day (and not even once a week sometimes!).
So I figured it was high time to assemble a nice little list of a slew of Starbucks copycat recipes you can make at home for a fraction of the cost of buying them.
You Can Breakup with Starbucks. No really. You can!
So many of us are hunkered down in our homes right now without the ability to get to Starbucks or our favorite coffee shops. Starbucks and other coffee shops are shuttering their doors. However, this will be a relevant list well past this hunker down period for many reasons.
First, many of these recipes are ones I’ve made and loved over the years that I know you’ll love to make, eat, and drink. These are not difficult recipes by any stretch either!
Second, if you’re thinking of or have been trying to break up with Starbucks, being able to make copycats of your favorite drinks and eats will certainly help to curb that Sbux craving.
And lastly, making these drinks and treats at home will definitely save you money.
Seriously! I estimate that I’ve saved around $1500 over the past 9 months but cutting my daily Starbucks run out of my life. We paid off the debt of an entire credit card with that money, which boosted our credit rating as well.
How can you beat that??
For the lattes that I now make at home, I’m using this machine. It’s been a workhorse in our kitchen for 3 years and for an espresso/coffee machine that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, we’ve been supremely happy with it!
ANYWAY! Let’s get to this list of 25 Starbucks and coffee shop copycat recipes that you can make at home, shall we??
